WOMEN’S DISCIPLESHIP GROUP (WDG) VISION STATEMENT

The Women’s Discipleship Group was organized in 1999 under the umbrella of the Fellowship West Ministry, headed by Frank and Bunny Wilson. The purpose of the Women’s Discipleship Group is to assist dedicated Christian women in becoming rooted and grounded in the faith and to reach the level of spiritual maturity that would enable them to use their God-given gifts and talents for leadership in various arenas of ministry.

We move toward these goals by implementing of the following principles:

1. A systematic study of the Word of God, including prayer and memorizing the scriptures. Meetings take place on a weekly basis.

2. Building strong relationships within the discipleship group. This includes encouraging one another and being both sensitive and supportive of one another’s needs.

3. Training women to become ministry leaders in the area where God has anointed them for service.

4. Consistently reaching out to minister in any area where we feel that the Lord is calling us to serve.
